Smart Patient Care

The new Zealacare smart briefs have been a wonderful addition for the patient who has commented on how comfortable and dry he feels when using the briefs. The smart briefs have provided key information and insights back to his doctor who has updated his care plan accordingly. The briefs will allow for more frequent 72 hour testing and if needed switch to daily monitoring when required. These are amazing!

If you are caring for someone with sensitive skin and are prone to skin breakdown, you will definitely want to use this product! It alerts you when the individual is at a certain % saturation. It is such a great concept! Definitely give them a try, you won't be sorry!

Zealacare came at a perfect time for me while I was caring for my aging mother who was suffering from dementia. The product gave me the peace of mind to know when I had to change her and knew that with the product there wouldn’t be long periods where she would be wet or developing sores. Prior to having the product, we’d either have to check her frequently or would later discover she had been uncomfortable for a while or even that sores were soaking in urine and getting worse. With Zealacare, that problem went away, when we got an alert we could quickly help her stay comfortable and it pretty much eliminated sore development for her. Zealacare senses wet events and alerts users using a three-part system:

  • A small, reusable sensor that attaches to the front of the brief
  • A premium, disposable brief with sensing strips manufactured
  • The Zealacare App (available for Android & iOS)

When a wet notification is received via the app, users remove the sensor, change the brief, and reattach the sensor.

Zealacare’s proprietary system will only work with Zealacare Smart Briefs. Our disposable briefs are designed with sensor strips in the manufacturing process. The briefs are made with absorption and comfort in mind.

With 800–1000ml of usable absorbency, Zealacare briefs provide dependable protection without compromise.

The briefs are made with snaps on the outside front. The sensor easily snaps on and off, allowing for a great user experience.

Yes. The Zealacare Smart Incontinence System has been developed using industry leading quality standards and is registered with the FDA.

The Zealacare App can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. When purchasing a starter bundle, we’ll send you a link via email to download the app. Setting up the app is quick and easy, and our interface makes it simple for everyone to use.

A full charge typically lasts between 5-7 days. The app has a dashboard that shows battery % and lets you know when it needs to be charged. To charge, simply put the device flat on the charging mat (included), and within 45-60 minutes it will be fully charged.

The Zealacare App lets you add care recipients and caregivers. The main dashboard shows device status, if the brief is wet (approximate brief saturation), average daily brief use and brief change history. Within the app, users can customize notifications to tailor the app to individual needs.

The app also has a “store” feature that allows you to buy additional briefs from within the app.
